| 3/4 | c | Butter, softened |
| 3/4 | c | Shortening |
| 1 1/2 | c | Packed brown sugar |
| 3/4 | c | Granulated sugar |
| 3 | | Eggs |
| 3 | tb | Light corn syrup |
| 3 | tb | Water |
| 3 | ts | Vanilla |
| 3 3/4 | c | Flour |
| 1 1/2 | ts | Baking soda |
| 3/4 | ts | Salt |
| 3 | c | Semisweet chocolate chips |
Cream butter, shortening, sugars, eggs, corn syrup, water and vanilla and
beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture.
Beat well. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls. Bake at 350øF for
15 minutes. Allow to cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute then remove to
cooling racks until completely cooled.
